I have a guy working on my ac and its all torn apart but I cant find 2 hoses that have to be replaced. I need the 2 hoses that come off of the compressor. I can not find them at the local parts store. I already have the liquid line and the line with the accumulator. I need the hose that comes from the compressor to the bottom of the drier/accumulator and the long hose from from the compressor that has a small black container, a valve, and a sensor. I have to try and get these parts no later then Tuesday. If anybody knows where I can pick one up please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks but I already have that hose. I need the ones that have the blocks that mount to the compressor. I might PM you in a week or two for some other parts for the car.

If you're looking for OEM/Motorcraft replacement parts, I may be able to get those two A/C hoses for you. All the 94/95 MTX hoses were discontinued by Ford years ago and are now obsolete. Due to the low production numbers of the 94/95 MTX (less than 5,000), very few OEM replace hoses existed in the parts system when they were discontinued.

I don't know what the pricing will be on the NAPA hoses, but post here what you find out (availability and pricing) and I'll check what I can find.

All autoparts stores show the wrong parts for the car. Here are some pictures of the hoses. Sorry but they were taken by my phone. I might have to find a local place that can make some for me.

The Napa hose lacks this fitting and has a extra hose off the mounting block.

If the metal ends of the hose are ok you can have it rehosed. I work at an automotive a/c shop and that is what I did with mine. A a/c shop that does a lot of a/c work on busses and semi trucks should have the tools and hose to do the job.

and thats a drier, not an expansion valve, our systems don't use that setup, we have an orrifice tube............

I have similar questions about this that i was going to post, I was more interested in the Liquid line with the orrifice tube inside of it.... but when you look at parts websites they have different ones that aren't SHO specific.... so I don't know what would be the right part number that is SHO specific...

Well I got the hoses fixed. Cost $45 to have new rubber and fittings put on. The ac blows cold but not that cold. It seems to have no leaks and im stumped. I read about the blend door going out and was wondering if there was a easy way to check it? I figured what if I bypass the heater core and drive it around? If it got colder wouldnt that tell me? I live in Houston so I wont need heat for awhile.

I bought both hoses at Autozone. The 2 hoses that you have to get from a dealer I just had them redone. I hate to say it but Autozone had the cheapest prices for all the stuff and the correct compressor. Everyone says they have the right one but trust me its not it.

Did you change all the seals and have the system vacuumed? Was the amount of oil and freon measured before adding to the system; or did you simply put it back together and throw a couple of bottles of freon in it?

I didnt do the work on the car. I did ask the guy who did it if he put enough oil in it and if he left the vacuum on for awhile. He said he did but now im having my doubts about it. Yesterday the car was barely blowing cold and the compressor was cycling on and off fast. Hooked a gauge on it and it shows it has pressure and full but why would the compressor keep clicking on and off fast? Im going to take it to a different place and get them to look at it. Could this happen if the sytem wasn't flushed out really good? I told him to do it but when I asked he took to long to answer and played dumb.

Every seal, sensor, and rubber hose was replaced. The only thing that wasn't was the evap and the condensor.
