I found these 3- 17x8 svt rims on a t-bird yesterday at the boneyard,but the 4th was nowhere to be found.Anybody know where I can find 1.[/IMG]

The link was bad,but if they are cobra wheels and ya can get em for a good price ,snatch em up!!!! look on craiglook.com or e-bay to find the 4th wheel

I've got three of them,took me awhile to split the lock lugs,but I think thats why they were still there.Somebody had a cart and star wrench in the aisle,but in the hour it took me to get them off they never returned.

Those aren't SVT wheels or replicas. Close, but no cigar. They are nice though! Look on the backside of the spokes, there should be some sort of manufacturer info that may help you find the wheel you need.

Ok,Thanks for all the reply's.Now anybody want to give me input on tires for these.Its a 95 atx with eibach's and KONI's adjustable's.I know I'm going to get flamed for this combo.:thankyou:

Those wheels look alot like Ronal R41's. Definitely not SVT's. Good looking wheel though!

Don't take my advice.
They look like a 17x8 replica of the Saleen Speedstar wheel.
No longer offered as far as I can tell. I know they have an 18" version of it as well.

They're pretty close to the Ronal R41s, but not exact. They look like they're probably a quality wheel. Good luck finding another.

They had one SVT center cap but it was all busted up.Maybe I'll post a wanted poster at Pick a Parts with a reward.Who ever was working on taken them off left with just one, I would guess they couldn't get the locks off the other 3.And I can't tell what the picture shows on the rim itself.

the lock nut is just a hard chrome shell over a lug.Split it with a chisel and hammer(wear safety glasses).Once it starts splitting take a center punch and hammer the punch down the seam,it will split off then put your socket on and off you go.

Eibachs and Koni's work just fine, don't sweat that!
For tire size, 225-50-17's are a perfect fit for an 8" wide rim, and it's the size that most run with 17's. 235-45-17's will fit as well, and some owners have gotten away with 245-45-17's, but you may have to roll the fender lips to run that large of a tire.
As far as what type of tire, everyone's going to have a different opinion, and it also depends greatly on what you want in a tire. Summer only, all season, track use, road only?
Hopefully you can find that fourth wheel, they're great looking wheels!
