Does anybody know if U can fit 20" under there? I think that an SHO with 20 would look great if done right. P.S. RI-SHO, Sorry about the car. I went to your website weekly SHOing people what a nice car that U had.

Well, I've never had to buy spacers before but if you got the 19X8" with the 45mm offset then you would need a 5mm spacer.

Picture you are standing directly above the wheel looking down on it with it standing upright(just like when it's mounted on your car). A rim with 0 offset would have the hub located in the center of the wheel. Positive offset is the number as you approach the outside of the rim. Negative would be as you approach the indise of the rim.

+45mm offset would be a hub that is 45mm towards the outside from the center of the wheel. Optimal offset for a 8" wide wheel would be about 40mm. So 45mm is too far out. You would need to wedge about a 5mm spacer to close that gap. I don't know if spacers work as simply as that but a wheel expert would be able to figure that out.

As for wheel diameter, a 20" wheel can fit as long as it's not too wide. BUT, that would be a very expensive proposition. You are very limited in wheel AND tire selection. Weight would also be quite a factor. They would almost have to be forged so as not to lose tons of power because of unsprung weight. boink

Way too much space, not enough tire. The rims are phenom, but I'd go with an 18 and opt for a little more tire to look at. That way your brakes wouldn't look super-weenie. :) Fantastic looking rim though.

Yeah, you guys have given me some great feedback and have gotten me to put it off for a while. I'd rather go with a suspension set up first.

SHO brakes look tiny no matter what. Next to my Jetta the brakes would look small. :)
