Need advice on seat swapping and compatibility

I was just wondering if anyone knew if the leather seats in the 96-99 sho's were the same as the regular taurus' loaded with leather bucket seats? Also i thought i read somewhere that the 96-99 sho seats are a direct swap into an 89 sho? Is this true? Just wondering before i go looking for a set. Thanks for any input.

I know that Gen III seats bolt into a Gen II, and I'm pretty sure Gen II seats are the same as an '89, so it should work. And no, they are not the same as a loaded up Taurus seat...the SHO seats have bolster in the lumbar region of your lower back, as well as up near the top of the seats (maybe to keep your shoulders in???).
