Navigation screens the same?

My navigation screen on my 2011 sho went blank will a screen from a regular taurus work? Will i need programing the new screen? Thanks lmk

Any Sync 2 screen should work if it has the right brackets. Another option is making the leap and doing a Sync 3 upgrade. I did mine for about $250 with Junkyard parts.

Screen/APIM I got through Car-Parts.com. I called a couple of places that had the APIM and Screen in the picture and played dumb. Scored both for $125 shipped. I also got mine from a 2019 Taurus SHO with the same options. I had 0 programming to do when I installed it.

I got my GPS Module off Amazon for ~$15. It is glitchy. I am considering buying his $50 model that he says is glitch-free. The glitch is the onboard navigation doesn't work. Not a huge deal since I use Android Auto.

USB Hub (HU5Z-19A387-A) I ordered from a random Ford parts site. Just searched who was lowest priced at the time ~$50.

The Wiring Adapter I got through Navi-Upgrade for $20.

RCA Hub Adapter I got through Navi-Upgrade for $25.

After that, it is a pretty straightforward install that is covered in tons of YouTube videos.
