I was looking at the hood of my SHO today, pondering and lamenting the broken transmission, when I thought of NACA ducts.
In the ford tradition (69-73 mach 1, GT40, et al.) I think it'd look purt' sweet to put a pair of naca ducts on the front corners of the hood. the drivers' side would ram air directly into a cone filter, fitted to the MAF where the airbox once was....and the passenger side would...umm....cool the battery?
Plus--the advantage of NACA ducts---
They scoop air without creating resistance. because the space in the actual duct starts out as a static mass, you've got no increase in drag.
the only question is...how big? I don't want to have to cut up any hood support structure.

Thanks,
Steve
