Well I got my engine pulled apart to replace the cam seals and the first thing I noticed Is the seals did not seem to be leaking.Maybe if I took off the the back timing belt cover it would be apparent. It seems that it is nessecary anyway to replace them. I know it is not oil pan is not leaking because its new also the vavle covers and the front crank seal are new but its got the classic oil leaking on the front right corner of the engine onto the front converter. Will the cam seal leak be apparent with the timing sprocket and back cover still on. Any help appreciated

if the rear bank exhaust side cam seal is leaking, it will leave evidence on the motor mount. IIRC, this is right above the cat. make sure it is engine oil. as a power steering line leak leaves the same trail.
