i have a 95 atx and i have a rear end clunk from it sounds like the passenger side rear. i know from a accident that my car was in that my front left lower control arm is bad (according to a shop) but they showed it to me on the lift the wheel wabbles if you tug on it. they told me i need front left bearing and lca but they also told me i need struts that i dont really need. the rubber boot on the lca is tore up so i think that is the only problem with that but anyways from the accident right behind my rear right door the little ground effect piece popped loose (it was a front left collision) so i am thinking that from the accident it sorta pushed pressure in that direction and broke something. what would the first thinks to get under the car and check in this situation? i also believe that that rear right wheel sits maybe half inch lower then the rest. but i may be mistakin

mounts or bad struts can make this sound

As well as stablilizer end links.

One side lower than the other is either a broken spring or collapsed mount, I would think.

also forgot to mention that on the highway everything feels real good over bumps etc it seems to be worse at lower speeds. you can hear it the most when coming to a stop sign or red light where the cement is very wavy from weight on the concrete. could i see anything thats wrong with it by looking underneath or tugging on it etc

if it is the strut mount can i replace only the strut mount? or do you have to replace the rear struts?

I have the same type of deal as cmz829 on my 95 MTX, but on the left rear. No accedents at all on the body, have had new suspension allaround, accept the bushings on the stabilizer end links, which are 12 years old.

as far as i remember it was faintly there before the accident maybe the accident had nothing to do with it and more miles made it more promiment? how could i check the stabilizer end links out? my car does seem to flex a little though when going out of parking lots
