MY trans dose not work

oh k this what happend my clutch cable broke so i went and got it fix and now when i but it in frist it dose not do nothing and i can put it in any gear without the clutch being push down what could be the promblem ??

do you feal the shifter clicking into gear or are the shift gates empty? did you fix the cable, need more information

What kind of shifter do you have? Cable or Rod? Is the new clutch cable in place? Is the plastic spacer in place where the clutch cable passes through the top of the trans? Did you pull up on the clutch pedal and here any "clicks"? We are gonna need more info to help you out. Let us know, and good luck.
