I just test drove the CSVT.... The car looked and drove really nice, just seemed like a very slow car.... it wouldnt chirp 2nd gear when i tried running it hard through 1 and 2nd up to 55...

The power just wasnt there  I though they were supposed to be near the SHO.. well, Not in my opinion. But what do I know..

The search continues............

i own a csvt and owned a 93 mtx sho. i agree with you, they don't seem to have the "put you in your seat" kind of power, but man they are quick on the highway and handle a lot better than the sho. i miss my sho, but i am happy with my csvt. good choice with the gti. i have always been a gti fan.

Thank you very much.. I am just getting used to the power delay with the new gti.. Its a nice car.. quicker than I think it is, these car are not hard at all to get down to the high 13's ( 499.00 gives you 60hp and 60ft/lb's ) These are REAL numbers too.. pretty insane, gotta love the turbo. Plus the car is just so tight, cant beat it IMHO. Great on gas too... I think I made the right choice.

Still like the CSVT.. sharp.
