Well done.

When I had a cowl induction hood, I had to watch out for certain car washes. Any issues with that?

Sanding / painting is aways what keeps me from doing those sort of things. I personnally would love to get the Carbon Fiber cowled hool. Little problems with car washes with that one I'd imagine..

So my plan is to use automotive magnetic sign material to cover them up when not in use. for now i just cover it with plastic. while your driving in theory rain shouldn't be getting in them. they do have a carbon fiber hood i forget the website.

Yeah Shosource has been the distibutor for a while for those hoods. When it rains, should only be a problem when standing still really.

Looks good! Are you using a special lens on the camera? Might be my eyes, but some of the pics seemed out of proportion. The straight on shot with hood up is great - that's a clean motor . . . As for the Chevy guys, eff 'em. I expect the Dodge boys would get salty when they see my Gen3 with a General Lee pant job (a little fantasy of mine after discovering DOH on AmazonPrime and that you can also buy the 5-air-horn Dixieland horn). A childhood friend of mine owns a custom auto paint shop . . . just outside of Atlanta . . . (didn't mean to hijack the thread).

i had to cut the frame from the bottom. so i could set them from underneath. I used doubled sided mounting tape and jb welded some S-brackets i made for extra support. the vents themselves i shaved them down a little bit on longer ends to help them shape the contour of the hood better.

Advancarbon still has my old car up on their site, without and type of permission, trying to hock carbon hoods. I took that photo while moving into a place. There is an old bed and kiddy pool in the background. Makes me cringe that they're using that photo. You'd think they would take the time to edit out the unsightly mess in the background.

Naw bro, that's like a pic of the General Lee with Uncle Jesse's barn in the back ground - a good looking piece of hardware with signs of real life. Now, speaking of good looking piece of hardware, if someone can just photo shop Daisy Duke into the doorway of the shed . . . might get my business!!

Definitely Shosource has been the distibutor for some time for those hoods. At the point when it downpours, should possibly be a difficult when stopping truly.
