Ever since I bought my SHO the rattles have bothered me. Anytime I remove a door panel I always use new clips and I dynamatted the floor, trunk, and two front door panels and to be honest it wasn't worth the effort, I never noticed much difference with road noise after the dynamat. I needed a new driver rear door panel and a new passenger front door panel so I figured I would try sticking some clear two side tape to the back edges. I was pretty successful at making sure it can not be seen once installed. Sorry for the crappy pics, they were from my phone. I only did the driver rear so far and it felt like it fit better but I won't know if it reduces rattles until I do all four doors.

I figure my '94 is 16 years old, so things are gonna rattle. I'll do an experiment and remove everything from the storage bins on the doors, and the glovebox, and see how much it still rattles. I doubt it'll ever be rattle-free, but removing anything loose from those door bins and glovebox should help. Plus, that's what the volume switch on the stereo is for...!

I've found that a major source of rattles and squeaks from the door panels is the different panel parts rubbing against each other, especially when I crank up the stereo.

The best thing I have found is to line any hole that gets a fastener with felt. That makes them fit tighter and will stop the panels and parts from squeaking. That took my super squeaky 2nd gen center console to rock solid and super quiet.

My 91 has solid motor mounts, aluminum sub-frame bushings, and coil-overs and it doesn't rattle. :p

I filled all my doors with expansion foam.
Honestly my track car with 165k is quiet and the wagon with 87k is so bad every door squeeks and even with the radio at 11 it's nasty. I'll wait till Spring to attack it.
