Yeah, I just assume the ecu went "oh crap" with the spike and backed it down. I don't run 1/4 mile runs very often (back roads if at all), most of my driving is hwy speed...yay grandpa driving. It does keep me from breaking as much...lol. There is pronounced difference between 87 & 93 octane performance but mpg stays the same, around 25mpg.
