My car won’t wake up

that is, the remote will not lock/unlock or pop the trunk if the car sets all night.
I suspected the car battery but find the voltage reads @ 12.45VDC in the morning, which I believe should be okay.
I think the computer is shutting some functions down inorder to save power…?
If I press a doorkeypad button which turns on the interior lights the remote operates everything just as it should. I tested the battery in the remote and it is good.
So…any thoughts on how to resolve this issue?

Edit: I thought you had hooked up an aftermarket remote. Sorry.

Replace the battery/batteries in the remote and re-program them.

To program, turn the key from off to run 5 times in a row without starting. The doors will lock and then unlock, and then for each remote press a button and the doors will lock and unlock for each remote to confirm that it's programmed. Turn the key to off when you're done and that's it.
