You need to search differential pins on this forum before you go drive hard, because whatever fluid you choose will be on the road...

I use Valvoline Mercon & Ford Mercon.

i just put in royal purple about 90miles ago and it seems to shift better, but still notchy. it was $60 for 3 Qts.

if your syncros are losing their linings, Valvoline max life ATX is good... other than that... I've noticed with a synthetic, the gears fall in place a lot easier. I prefer Mobil 1, but I also think that it breaks down faster than the rest.

Whoa I would be confused more then anything with all these answers.

You can use any good ATF (automatic trans fluid) , if you get synthetic , its better. But ATF is what goes in there.

Some used GM synchromesh and loved it as well.
