I've been actively searching for a 13+ SHO recently and while I do have a few color and equipment preferences, the two features I'd really like my SHO to have are a moonroof and the massaging seats. My question to anyone who has the seats is, are they worth it? How great, or not so great, is the massage function? Do the bladders really work well? Are they reliable? Are they noisy? Any downside that would lead you to either not use them or not seek them out on a future Ford vehicle? Thanks for any input you might have.

Same boat forget about them more than anything. If you like a butt massage yea great. I back massage it makes it to maybe the l3 level. Having had back surgery on l4 and l5 it does not go high enough to be felt in that area. I would not consider it a buying a point at all myself

I have it and use it sometimes and for the money I guess it's worth having but I wouldn't let not having that option stop me from buying a car. Weird thing is I had a 12 SHO before this 16 and I thought the massaging seats were better in that one..

We ordered it for my wife's 2014 MKZ when they were first available. We really like the adjustability and the massage features. Very nice on trips.

I wasn't specifically looking for them on my 2016 SHO, but was glad to see them as part of the package. I use it frequently

It was something I wanted in my new 2016, the one the dealership found had everything I wanted except that, wasn't a deal breaker for me.

I have them on my '13, and use it frequently on long trips. I like it! As others have said, it was not a deal breaker. However, now that I have used the Adaptive Cruise, I wouldn't have a car without that feature. I really wanted to get a Cadillac XLR-V, but the "V' did not come with Adaptive Cruise (space issue with supercharger intercooler). That WAS a deal breaker!

Totally love them for the longer drives, when it was my DD I used them all the time sitting in traffic...

And I like to tell the guys in the EVOs and STIs that not only did you loose to a Taurus... I was having my A$$ massaged while I was passing you... :p

Mine has it. Tried it twice. At this point, honestly, more of a conversation piece for business clients who fuss with the passenger adjustment and activate it. I would never pass on an otherwise good SHO forthis.

+1 here. When I drive my car around town or on short 1 hour or less trips they never get used. But when I use my car to go on longer trips (more than 1 hour) they get used every trip. Years ago I was in a car accident and had a compression break on L1 that causes back pains on longer trips. I didn't buy the car knowing it had the contour seats, but I'm glad it did. When my back starts to hurt, I turn them on and it alleviates the pain. I wish they were "stronger" but they still work good enough I'm very happy they have them (and would make sure if I bought a new one it had them).

I've got them in my 2016. used them once, the wife loves them. I can't say not having them would be a deal breaker if the rest of the car was to my liking.
