I went with stainless Flowmaster 50's on my '98, 2.5" from the cat back - not overbearingly loud, with a nice low rumble, and it still screams when those RPMs peak. I've gotten a few compliments on it

I have Dynomax Ultra Flo SS mufflers. They sound really good, are stainless steel and I don't think they cost too much. They have a higher flow than Borla or Flowmaster 50's. My friend does exhaust, so I got them done with nice tips for only $120. Go to www.dynomax.com to check them out.
