Muffler exhaust tip size

Wanting to update the look of the exhaust tips on my 2015 sho. Can someone tell me the size of the tip as it leaves the muffler? Was going to cut it off and weld new tip on. Don't want the car louder. Maybe just a little..... ;-)

its 2” and that wont do anything to the sound doing that so no need to worry about the sound changing, u gotta watch your tip snd the hangers that r right at the end… also did u look under ure car at all to see this? u should probably do that and get an idea of whats there

I did this exact thing. Bought bigger stainless tips, cut them to size and welded right on to the muffler. Fills the cut outs nicely and looks better. Been on the car since 2017 and still look mint.

Cut off stock tips close to muffler, cut these to length wanted, weld to muffler face around stock exhaust pipe
