I was just wondering if there was anyplace out there that made syncronizers for the mtxIV.....the shop I am going to have micropolish, shotpeen, cryo, and rebuild it cannot find them, I was just interested in them

plus, is $450 a good deal for a complete redo with everything listed? This isn't a backyard place, they make hiperformance t56 trannies for corvettes and fbodies mainly, but have guy who is more than capable.

Also, $450 with everything listed done, thats not the price for you guys....srry, I'm somewhat working out a deal with them to do it:angelnot:

No one makes them anymore. There maybe some around but there very hard to find. If yours are bad maybe you can find some good used ones on the classifieds.

I got my tranny drained, taken apart, cleaned up, painted and reassembled for $400, so it sounds like a deal.

I'm just curious what you are getting for your $400. There are no syncro/blocking available. What are they doing for that kind of money.
You can replace the input shaft seal, 2 axle seals, 3 differential pinion roll pins, and the shift shaft seal. You also have a new TOB, quill sleve, and shift fork bushings. I recomend the SHO NUT PERFORMANCE ceramic's. That's not a lot of money. Not bustin your bubble, just wondering if you're getting your money's worth.;)
