MTX to ATX Suspesion swap?

Does anyone know if I can swap the suspension from my MTX to my ATX? I would be swapping the struts, springs and shocks along with whatever else is in better shape than on my ATX.. If I can do this, is there any mods I have to make so it will fit correctly, or anything else that I should know about removing old struts or any of the suspension sh*t? Thanks in advance..

No mods. The parts will interchange.

The only thing that won't work is the subframe. Everything else bolts up with no modification. What you should know about the struts, is saying a couple of prayers before removing the pinch bolts if there's alot of rust down there. Good luck.

My shocks and springs are off of a '90. The '90s only came in the MTX flavor, but I have a '95 in the ATX sauce. Bolted right in with no mods.

dont want to be the ****** of the thread, but just for clarification (for the original poster) The SHO uses Struts and springs. Shocks were never used on the SHO.

anyways yes the struts will swap over fine, the subframe itself is not interchangeable, but subframe connectors are.

cool thanks...Yeah, i'm not going to swap the connectors anyways.. Just struts & springs for now..unless I find anything else that looks better on my MTX.
