I'm probably not looking good enough but I can not find a writeup on how to rebuild the MTX. I can rebuild an ATX but an MTX is a whole new ballgame. Anyone know of a manual or an online writeup? Thanks.

Best way to do it is follow the helms manual. Its quite simple, just time consuming and tedious.

You will also need a shim selector tool. SHOnut has them. I would also buy the quaife install viedo too. It will show you the disassembly and reassembly of the transmission.

I don't know that there's ever been a real write-up on how to rebuild an MTX trans. Not sure what you need to know specifically but if you have any questions I can probably answer them.

P.S. You only need the shim selector tool if you replace the diff, the bearings or bearing races on the diff or either side of the case. A simple rebuild wouldn't require its use unless you're swapping the bearings.

Cracking the tranny halves it looks to be a walk in the park. I'll pick up a Helms manual.
