Go to NAPA and get hose # 7311. They should have one on hand.

It won't cross to a SHO, but it fits both the MTX and ATX. It may need a little trimming to keep from squashing it on the subframe, but for around $12 it's a great deal and easy to get hold of.

There are no new OEM Ford lower hoses left in the warehouses. However, a dealer can initiate a search of dealer stock around the country and perhaps find one on someone's shelf. That worked for me when I bought one a few months ago. RCM automotive has one available in their hose kit. The NAPA 7311 Mr. A describes sounds like a good option too.

Dont worry man. They couldn't locate it at advanced auto up here, and they're kinda idiots around here so i went to Checker or "Craigins" as its called in some other places. They didnt have it on computer either but let me go in back to see if i could match it up as i had the hose in hand. I found the exact hose, or seemed to be the exact same, same diameter, bends etc. Just go huntin at some local parts stores, you'll find one or one that will suffice.

i was almost thinking of going with that kind of stainless custom stuff people put in hotrods or such... probably never have to replace it for a long time

Curious, with the exception of the original-style flattop upper hose (non-abs) I didn't have any trouble buying both the upper (newer, abs ****) and the lower radiator hoses from my local Ford Dealership not too long ago.

Ok, I'm still confused as to why you don't just walk into NAPA, ask for hose # 7311, and install it??? Even with tax, it's under $20 and they should have it on hand. Are there not any NAPA's where you are in FL? Here in Broward they are all over the place.

I've installed probably 30 or 40 of that hose on both MTX and ATX SHO's. It works just fine.

If you search the forum for 7311, I believe Paul N. has some pix of that exact hose installed on his car.

In fact, I'll do the hard work for you, here it is:

MTX SHO Upper radiator hose: NAPA NBH8666, $16.99
MTX SHO Lower radiator hose: NAPA NBH9368, $17.69

I've used both of these hoses, they work just fine. In fact, A friend just bought me a set of both because I gave him my last Motorcraft ATX lower hose for his Dad's 95 ATX. I paid about $30 for that Mototcraft hose, and because I pulled his butt out of the fire late at night, I asked him to replace it with a full set of MTX radiator hoses.

My recollection is that 7311 in the ATX lower hose, which NAPA doesn't carry much anymore.

Seriously, WTF is the problem? Perhaps you need to spend less time on "teh internets" grousing about parts availability and just go out and buy/order them at your local store.
