I am taking my dash out to replace the blend door actuator. In the process I noticed my instrument cluster has an o/d off light. Did Ford use the same cluster setup for both and just hook up the wiring for auto's? I noticed the harness by the shifter has a spot for the illumination for the gear selection in an auto and the plug for the od button.

With a couple of things pointing to the dash has been out at one point, I want to make sure that the cluster wasn't changed and the mileage is the correct mileage. I know there is always that chance it was changed lol

I am also going to check my color code on the door today. The passanger side door has red paint under the green, I found green overspray when I changed the front passenger fender, and a bolt was red instead of green in the fender (but that is for a different section of the forum.) I am thinking I need to pull a car fax. No matter what I am glad I got the car, it's a 95, with a manual, and all the options I wanted. :omgsho:

The cluster changed mid 92. The two 92s I've had had the dual purpose cluster, my friends 92 does not, his car has an earlier vin.

This is in a 95, so in mid 92 they changed it to where it didn't have the dual purpose cluster? or do some 93-95 have a dual purpose cluster as well?
