MTX Input Shaft Seal Installation

I have searched and did not find a thread on this. I am doing a clutch job with 170,000 miles on the car and don't see the input shaft seal. Do I have to take the trans apart to access it? How long does that take? It's not leaking. Thanks.

Yes, you have to take the trans apart to get to it. Maybe an hour or two, if you're comfortable doing it. I'd consider leaving it alone if you've never had a trans open before.
