Im in the middle of the ATX to MTX conversion. I am using the 3.0L belt set-up, but the ATX accessorys are in better shape. I wanted to use the 3.2L power steering pump and A/C compressor. I know I have to change the pullies, but other than that, are the MTX versions the same as the ATX? I have tried searching for the answer on the forum, and I connot find a direct answer...

The pump and compressor themselves are the same, but the bracketry isn't. You still need to use the entire 3.0 setup, but you could swap out the two if you wanted.

You do realize that by switching all the brackets , your MTX engine mounts wont fit. If you use the ATX mounts , your subframe wont fit - well it will but you wont be able to attach the MTX tranny on the atx subframe.

If you want to go that route by all means , you need to fabricate your engine mounts so it fits the MTX subframe. I went that route. The 2nd one is a mustang 79 conv engine mount modded to fit in there.

I took all the brakets and timing componants off the 3.0 and put them on the 3.2 block, and now I am mounting them all to a mtx subframe with mtx motor mounts
