KAM RESET....
the procedure in our manual (page 340 for my 2010) which states: After a battery disconnect, the car must relearn idle and trim settings. Start the car and let it come up to operating temp. Turn on the A/C and let it idle for 1 min. With the A/C on disengage the parking brake, place your foot on the brake and shift to drive, let it idle for 1 min. Then drive the car over 10 miles....
Also in SCTX4 device.

Okay today I was messing around with the coil plugs to see how difficult was to do them. Well needless to say I broke two plugs is anyone else having this problems. I had to use a zip tie on the second one cuz it broke all the way and will not lock in.

Holy cow!

Step one, pull the red sliding part away from the coil. Don't force it too far, it only goes about half to 3/4 inch. Once it is in unlocked position, take a small flatblade screwdriver and wedge it in the top opening of plug (closest to coil) and at the same time press with your finger on the release part of the plug and pull plug away from the coil.

Learn how it works on your one remaining front one before you proceed to the back ones. It is extremely easy to remove the plugs to the coil if you understand what is holding them on. It's dark here otherwise I would try to get you some pics.

I made a quick video of how I do it. Hope ot helps you. I also clean mine as much as i can each time I do plugs/coils. If they stick on you, it's usually dirt and grime that are causing that.

I suppose you could apply a bit of electronics cleaner/MAF sensor spray to the connection prior to the attempt at disengagement :D to dislodge the dirt & grime. Tho if the battery is still connected, not a good idea.

Excited! Mine really needs the coils. Doing a bunch of maintenance asap. I am going to be down for awhile so I trying to take care of it now while I still can. Amsoil for the rear diff, its newer, has 27,000 on it. Replace Amsoil in PTU, has a pigtail from last replacement. Replace rear shocks with OEM PP shocks, struts were replaced 27,000 ago. Then rotate tires, get wheel alignment. Replace coil packs with MSD and replace trans fluid with Amsoil.
