I’m sharing this video just in case it helps someone to troubleshoot a misfire condition. I’m hoping this was just an isolated incident in regards to the quality of the MSD coil.

That being said, I still keep my stock COPS in my trunk just in case.
Just curious, what software program was being used in that video and is that something available to a home user? Regardless of the findings in the video, I'd love to have that software capability...
Can forscan monitor the same power balance feature as we see in this video? Seems like a pretty useful tool. I've got forscan but haven't dove deep into to, in all honesty.Definitely Ford IDS with the VCM2 interface module. For the casual user, the yearly subscription price is pretty steep and unavoidable. Why Ford is transitioning from IDS to FDRS is beyond me.
I can't speak to COP quality but MSD is definitely losing fans in other Ford circles.
I have had in the last 3 years:
(2) Distributors bad right out of the box. Both had misses that went away after going back to stock dist.
(1) Defective 6AL that needed to be replaced after about 2,000 miles.
(1) Defective TFI coil that was about 6 months old
Like I said, I don't know about their COPs, but premature failure of products made in the last 3-4 years is becoming way too common.
