I have had my SHO for about 3 weeks. I have only stepped on it a couple times. I do a fair amount of highway driving. I only seem to be getting 18MPG tops when crusing at 75MPH. Has anyone else expierenced this?? Any ideas???

Nope, have been getting about 23.2 normal daily type driving and highway anywhere from 27-29 mpg, averaging about 67 mph.

Does the MPG system actively calulate as your on the highway or does it average over a period of time?

Reset your MPG and drive for a few days. I'm sure your MPGs will hit at least 24 miles per gallon.

I've found the old method of measuing gallons vs miles driven is more accuarate. I get around 22 mpg avg. with my foot in it quite a bit...
My SD truck's mpg computer is way off.
The SHO seems a little better, but not much.

I trust the old way of measuring gas mileage too but filling the SHO is no easy task. It's hard to know when it's full and spilling is so easy.

That seems about the same as what I get about town. On long freeway trips I usually see around 20, cruising around 80. Car says I'm getting 22mpg, and my own tracking shows 20 mpg. So seems average to me.

I am averaging 24 with mixed driving. I only put my foot into it when I am showing it to my friends and relatives.

I am averaging 18mpg and I floor it a lot... I mean A LOT! lol! But when I feel satisfied (for the few 5-10 minutes I can endure without testing a WOT), I average 16mpg in the city and 28mpg on highway at 75mph on CC. But as mentioned in another post, I believe my mpg is affected with my custom exhaust... otherwise, I'd have a better mileage.
