My time has come to an end in Germany and will be headed to Tampa in Jul. Wanted to put a few questions out to the group.

1. Any other group members in the Tampa area?
2. Since FL only has rear plates, I'm looking for vanity plate ideas for the front. I'm going to have a European plate made to put on the front. It can fit 9 letters/numbers. I was thinking TWINTURBO, but open to ideas.
3. I have an Unleashed tune with 3 bar, plugs, Airaid intake, and H&R springs. I have a 160 Tstat, but haven't installed because of the mild temps in Germany. It's much hotter in Tampa. What issues may I see (should I watch for) if I don't install right away?
4. Since the car has been overseas from 2014 to now, it hasn't had any warranty work done (I have the extended warranty for 8 years/100K miles). One of my first stops will be to a dealer to get a full checkup. What tune pieces/parts should I remove before going in?

Thanks for any info/advice.

I would flash back to stock and remove the 3bar at minimum. Possibly the intake. You will be fine with leaving the stat

I have the same mods I live 32
Miles north of Tampa. You should be fine maybe data log and get back with Unleashed as for service return to stock. Never trust the dealer.

I read your post wrong originally. Never did before and after tests with the stat but I can see a difference on the factory temp gauge running 160 stat with a tune. As DJV5150 said I would datalog once your in the FL heat and check in with Torrie on if any updates are needed for that, plus there should be some adjustment to fan turn on/off to work with the colder stat.

Thanks for the advice. I will get with Unleashed once I’m up and running in FL.

Welcome back home! I live in Orlando, would be cool to have a SHO meet up one day! I'm originally from Norway, been in the states since 2013.
I think it's so awesome how you have a SHO over in germany. I'm running a LMS tune with the 3bar, and stock thermostat. No issues, but I'm sure a colder thermostat would help.

marius888...Great to hear there is another member in the area. I will certainly send a message when I make it to the Orlando area. I plan to put it back to stock before I take it in for a checkup. It's been in Germany for 4 years, so I want to have the dealer look it over good to see how everything looks. I'll put everything back in after the check up and work with Torrie on data logging.
