I was thinking about mounting a pair on the C pillars in the back of the car. Has anyone done this before ? Cause I think that it would add ALOT of sound clarity to the back, cause as of now....all I really get is bass fromn the back and treble from the front.

What kind of speakers do you have in the back?

I don't sit in the back too often, but I put a set of Infinity Kappa 5x7's in the rear deck. They've got positional tweeters on them, and they sound great.

Yah tha tis what I have back there too, but I am looking for a little more high end. I have 2 12" perfects back there, so I have ALOT of bass coming forward.

I'd personally say don't worry about it.

The clarity is fine in the back, and from what I've been told countless times, rear speakers are for fill, so don't waste a lot of time if you've got bass in the back.

I added 2 sets of tweeters to my SHO. Both sets are mounted on the top of the molding. I had to drill one hole to get them in. I like the sound, it creates a very nice surround sound. One is in front of the driver and the set is next to the back passangers. It allows you to actually hear the highs admsits my 2 12"s thumping. ID recomend them. At least for the driver.

Adding tweets to the rear might pull the sound stage too far back. On my old install I put some tweets in the sail panels and then time aligned them.
