does anyone know if you can put a 3.0L out of a 95 mtx into a 94 which has a 3.2L atx. the 3.2L has a bad rap in it

You can but I would advise against it. You need a little extra displacement to make up for drivetrain loss in an automatic. You would have to transfer the accessories and bracketry from the atx to the mtx. I'm not sure if all the mounting holes are already drilled in the front of the MTX block. I know most of them are.

why not use the whole 3.0/MTX combo and ditch the ATX altogether?

And what are you going to do with that 3.2L......?
