The buyer of my 91 would like just the motor and transmission from my 90 parts car. I am gettting ready to remove it. Would you guys recommend that I come out the top, or drop the subframe, motor, and transmission as one unit. Thanks in advance.

If your going to trash the body just drop the subframe. You can have the subframe off and the body out of the way in 30 minuets if you not dealing with a bunch of rust.

Thanks for the quick reply. I did however decide to keep the car rollable ( is that a word? ) and just came through the top.

Take it from the top as one piece. Drain all the fluids out first. Disconnect all the connections including the halfshafts.
