I know there are more performance enhancements out there for a 1990 taurus sho. I have a 3.0 in it. everything is stock. For it being a taurus, it has nuts as we all know. Where can I find upgrades on my performance. Later down the line I'll be looking for visual upgrades, but right now I'm focusing on raw power. Please send me links or whatever so I can start my search for more power.

There are plenty of places for upgrades. You might want to check out SHOclub.com for some of the business links that offer different parts. You can also do a search on the internet and find all kind of things.

I am sure that on this list there are some people that can give you a lot more info.

what are some easy parts to start out with on my project? So far on the car, I've replaced the starter, water pump, calipers, rotors, pads, both front struts, ignition module, windshield. all with reman. parts. Right now the lower k frame on the car rusted through so I"m kinda on hold for me to get ideas. If the frame can get fixed, I"m putting on a performance exhuast right away.
Thanks for the websites. I'll be sure to get some ideas.

I would really like to suggest getting a 60k tune up done to the car first before you do any mods.... although exhaust probably wont hurt anything. If you have not had the 60k done, you should go for it first.

more hp

If your SHO is high mileage, get the 60K (or some it).

I would recommend the silencer cone removal. And you can go one step further and remove everything on the outside of the inner fender. Cold air induction, sucking in from the fender cavity, is built right in !

Get a K&N AirFilter.

Change over to Mobile1 Oil (less friction).
I just switched to M1 0W40, but I only drive the SHO in summers.
The zero end is good for quick flow to the engine and the 40 end is to keep oil pressure high during "spirited driving".

That's good for a cheap couple HP.

The Performance Plus Y-pipe (w/cats) is a GREAT bang for the buck !
Just get hi-flow muffs too, like some cheap SuperTurbos out of Jegs.
The stock pipe from the y-pipe to the muffs is fine.
