That does look pretty sharp, do they even make those for a 2nd gen? If anyone has more pics to post of any fishtank mod would be cool too!!

I don't think anyone posted a pic of a Gen2 w/o fishtanks... here's mine, taken today:

Wow, that looks. . . . different. Not sure if I like it, but it's interesting. Any other shots of different views?

change the chrome for these after bumper and paint add the CF Cowl hood and that should just about take care of the aggresive looking front

The Police versions, and SLO's had the same front ends. Only the Gen I came with a different style grill I believe.

Ive seen a couple of the Police version SLO's and they have a small little opening underneath the Ford emblem, where it meets the front bumper, very similar to the Gen 1 "grille gap"

It just has the 3.8L Essex with a trans that's either beefier or has different gearing, I can't remember which.

Yep, Police Package's final drive ratio was 3.37 vs 3.19. In addition, it shared the SHO's suspension with a 24mm & 25mm sway bar combo. The Gen II models put out 215ft lbs and 160 hp because of a different head design, w/ agressive cams, and I think the block was different/stronger then the regular 3.8's.

Low end wise, a PP will take a SHO, but a SHO will slowly pull away.

I never understood how the regular Taurus is so ugly but the SHO looks so good. The differentiation is even more obvious in GenII Tauri.

I used this thick black tape and covered all around my headlights so less light was let in and it made them look darker then made that angle across them as seen in the pics. I also blacked out the orange sidemarker reflector because im to cheap for clear corners, they look better though imo. Then of course the cf hood. And lowering the car always helps too. I suggest not trying the hit the guard rail mod though.:thumb:

Looks like your car is wearing eye liner:biggrin:

the 3.8 has torque... I've raced a 3.8 in my SHO, and I've raced a SHO in my old 3.8.... both times were rather suprising.... ever see a 140hp car pull a 220hp car for a second? lol

My '98 Windstar with a 3.8L was way too fast for a mini-van. It was rated at 200hp. It was great, even when the headgasket was leaking and the tires were bald!

'98 Windstar. Now that had an agressive front end.
