clear corners ,billet grills and it only bing a couple inches off the ground made mine look a little more aggressive

Justin,
I would really appreciate a write up, or a list of parts for the grill. IIRC, its off of a Expidition (aftermarket). But i'd assume you could really use any other type of grill.

Was there alot of weight added?

before it starts, I'm gonna step up and say.....nice. I like it. Dont' care for the painted headlight covers or whatever, but the R33 bumper cover fits nicely on the SHO....only thing it needs is an intercooler behind it.

Best way IMO to clean up a front end is to keep it close to stock...but lowered and a set of wheels pushed to the corners.:thumb: Since these pics were taken I cut a coil out of the fronts (Intrax). These springs were installed when the car was an atx...after the mtx swap the removed weight raised the car up about 1/2". Cutting resolved this but I don't have any new pics. I know your post was looking for something a little more cost effective...

As far as the headlight covers go I don't use them anymore I ended up not liking it thats why I was saying I needed to take new day pics but I guess I should also take the day pics off car domain till I take some new ones and the only thing done to the front end now is the mock bumper that doesn't have the bottom spoiler. BTW it will have an intercooler behind no later than Feb. thats part of the reason I picked this bumper b/c its not too extreme plus all that room for the intercooler

I have another idea for this......

this would be for gen2 only though.

Why not take a regular SLO taurus fender, and then use the SLO corner light. This will make the entire headlight package look a little smaller and more aggressive IMHO.

if your going to go that route i would say delete the turn signal completely i think that would sharpen up the front nicely

sable fenders and sable clear corners on a 1st gen

Would this combo work for the first gen? Are the sable headlights the same?

Probably personal taste, but removing the fishtanks completely makes the SHO look more aggressive - plus, better airflow & it's free!

Maybe it's the lines from the removed tanks, up along the cowl hood, to the raised moonroof that make it look meaner... ? All I know is I removed them and went "oh sh*t, that looks good" and left it like that.

What exactly are fishtanks?? And also, what is a SLO, is that a 3rd gen or something??

Fishtanks = Front head lights little rectangular friend (closest to the front FORD emblem.)
No lights in them (stock)

SLO = Termination for SLOW = All non-SHO Tauruses.

And Justin , thats the Nicest GEN1 front end ive ever saw.

change the chrome for these after bumper and paint add the CF Cowl hood and that should just about take care of the aggresive looking front

My question is, if you're trying to make that car look better why not paint the actual car instead of a bumper that doesn't fit correctly? Looks like you have some horrible paint on there. And get rid of that monster truck wheel gap.
