moon roof inside panel problem

the sliding panel to block sight through the moon roof for my 95 sho has one side off the track. so it is jamming things up and doesn't slide smooth any one know how i can fix this thing and get it back on track.

does it go back at all? i know theres a way to get that thing out, lemme check my chiltons....ok it says you have to remove the glass to remove the sunshade, and you cant remove the glass unless the sunshade is fully opened to expose the screws holding the glass in. well, maybe you can take a rubber mallet and whack it back into the track. sorry frown

watch out with that mallett.Don't the shade to hard and break the glass !!!

i was able to slide it back and forth it just doesn't move as freely as it should because it is off teh track. so i can get to it with out removing the roof liner? or will that be necessary

all you have to do is remove the screws holding in the glass and pull the glass out then youre supposed to be able to get the sun shade out pretty easy. good luck!
