This is a warning for anyone buying parts from Minnesho on cars he is parting out. I understand he is a respected member of the forum, has contributed tons of posts/help to people, and I am a lonely noob on the forum... but still I have had trouble buying parts from him.

Over a week ago I paid Minnesho for a radiator fan assembly and asked him on multiple occasions to ship the product as express as he could. After receiving payment, hey informed me that the part had been shipped express via UPS. Over a 2 weeks later (even including weekends) the part had not arrived. I informed him of this and asked him for a tracking number which he could not provide for me. A few days later, I asked Minnesho to refund my money, which he still has not done. This was 4 days ago and I have not recieved any money, part, or PM about any of it. I didn't want to flame him on the board, but I have been left without a part or a refund as a result of it.

Let this be a warning for others. DO NOT BUY FROM MINNESHO. That is, of course, unless you want to pay money for a part you wont recieve. I am sorry if he has done successful business for other people on here, but I am just relating my experience with him.

Problems with Minnesho

Patience is the Key here... MANY people don’t understand what it takes to part out a car and try to contact everybody immediately, it’s not like members spend 24/7 behind the desk of their computers.

I bought a set of calipers from him about a year ago and he had them to me within a week.

I feel your pain. It took many, many months for me to get a refund from him after he repeatedly failed to ship a swaybar he'd repeatedly promised to ship.

Sorry to hear I wasn't an isolated case.

It's been over a month on the alternator and CCRM I bought. And as for the parting out a car comment: I have parted out a car before and I can tell you that it should NEVER take a month to ship something (or 20 somethings). If you are going to sell stuff you should be able to ship in a timely manor.

Hmm don't have the headliner or carpet but i'm pretty sure i have some sunvisors still.

Shostoppa, the item was sent through USPS (postal service) not UPS, you filed a claim with paypal to get your money back and now thats being processed, it would have been much quicker if you would have just asked for a refund without the paypal claim, now we have to wait for their slow arses! and its also too bad that this is your second post on the forum. its also the wrong forum for such a comment, bombing my PAID ad. there is an aporopriate forum on the board for situations like this.

Believe me, I have tried to post this in the hall of fame/shame section before i posted it here. There was no option to post it in that section when making a new thread so I actually put it in the "product feedback" section incorrectly. If you look at my post there, I stated that it is the wrong section and asked a mod/admin to delete it.

Regardless of the method it was shipped (USPS or UPS), the product has not arrived. I paid you for a product which you did not deliver. I also believe that I did ask you (on multiple occasions, both in e-mail and private messages) for a refund which you did not do. You informed me on thursday that you would "take care of it" and refund my money, but still did not do so. I gave it through sunday for you to do so. So what else was I supposed to do? Hence the claim on paypal. Had you just refunded the money (as i asked, and as you said you would) this would not be an issue.

I also do not see how my post count should have any bearing on the validity of my argument. I understand you have posted much and I am new here.... regardless, the transaction did not go as it should have and I have been left with no choice. Since I couldnt post in the hall of fame/shame, I decided to post in your thread where you and others would be sure to read it. You did not respond to any of my private messages so I had to, unfortunately, make this matter public. If you could please point me to the more appropriate section of the board that I can actually post in, I would love to kick my post count up a notch (since thats an important factor, apparently).

All I want is my money back. I dont feel that i have been disrespectful to you in any way, nor have I thrashed your reputation on this board. I was respectful in my post and simply shared with others my experiences in dealing with you. All you had to do was either a) deliver the part I paid for or b) refund the money. Please, just refund the money so we can move on and put this behind us. Thank you.

Are all the things you guys haven't received from the current classified he has running? If so, then steps will be taken to remedy the situation.

Aaron:
I know you're keeping up with this thread at least a little bit. The last time you viewed it was 9/25 at 4:27pm. It would be helpful if we had your input here because there is always another side to a story.

If you don't respond then I'll have no other choice but to close your classified down. I think pretty much everyone knows my views on this kind of activity, which at this point doesn't look very good on you. I'm not passing any kind of judgement but I'll be keeping an eye on how things progress here.

SHOtime2511:
If I know about a problem I try to take steps to stop people from ripping off others. I think that was pretty evident in the Spec clutch group buy thread. If nobody brings it to my attention then it's quite likely that I'll never be aware that something like this is going on, I just don't have the time to go through every post in the classified areas to make sure sellers are holding up to their end of the bargain. :frown:

ok everyone, my PM box is now clear so everyone with issues please PM me again, I'm at work and have little time to set aside right now, but I will take the time later to get it all sorted out. I assure you I am not here to scam someone out of a measly $25, i understand some parts others bought were more than that, but its not what I'm here for. Some of the items sent did appear to never arive for whatever reason we don't know, but even though i'm out the part now as well i'll still refund you it is not a problem. There are still some other parts that have not been shipped as i've been insanely busy and still have 2 SHO's waiting to be parted, the other 2 have been parted and the parts are waiting to ship. I apologise for all this, but 4 out of the 6 techs at work quit and i just havent found the time to get the rest of the parts shipped yet. Please be patient, and everyone with concerns PM me and we'll get this sorted out in a timely and civil manor. Thank you !

Remmember guys if he is using USPS to ship, they don't deliver on the same type of schedule that UPS does, the post office will tell you if it's not shipped
in some form of priority it can take up to 6 weeks for delivery, and they will not do a tracking until then. If a postal truck does not have room for a particular package it willl stay at that location until there is room on another truck. I have personally seen it take 2 weeks for a package to travel 450 miles.I also feel that he should be providing you with e-mail confirmation of shipping and a tracking #.

I'm back online Aaron. It must suck being so much shorter on the manpower. I don't know if you ever got my e-mail, so I'm retyping here; Was my stuff shipped in bulk, seperate, or [is/are] [it/they] still pending?

So many things can go bad with shipping anything to. I had a package shipped to me 3 months ago, just got it three weeks ago.:oogle: I doubt it would take this long, though. Ask for a tracking number and just be patient.

well i would have gladly paid for good shipping to have my part by now. i always spend the extra 50 cents to know where my packages are, and he said a refund was on it way but id rather believe in santa claus than a refund.
