In the right price range

Maybe the auto magic is good enough

Yes it's possible, though the final product has not been completely perfected; I mean they work fine but from what I understand there are minor bugs here and there (reverse grinding comes to mind). Kirk of NESHO and Doug of FPS have both done the swap. Kirk has done a few and from what I've seen they performed great on track in 2009. These swaps have been everything the v8 SHO should have been from the factory. Call Kirk and get this job done!

Can/has been done. However, the cost is going to disqualify you for a lemons race. It's not a simple bolt in/off the shelf swap.

Thanks -- that is what I was looking to figure out.

If its not bolt on/off -- then probably less interested.

Although running an AT is potentially possible.

My Porsche 924S might be promoted from LeMons and
moving on in life (if it survives an upcoming ChumpCar race)

So I'm considering the next donor.

But really parts wise you could do it....

I don't know what "off the shelf axles" Kirk is using for the swap but if those are truly off the shelf then they are also in the boneyard. Really a scrap rustbucket Gen I for a donor and the axles with the fabrication patience and you could do a Lemons plausible candidate possibly.

I don't know how you buy a Gen III and either have or put a running motor into it in the budget however.

My swap with the Mazda 6 tranny is outta the question for Lemons as I have almost 1K in the two custom axles alone, add in a few hundred more for boneyard parts lie the shifter and such.
