Have seen a couple pics of painted manifolds that look pretty cool. Would like to paint mine next time I have to remove it. Any preferences on the type of paint to use?

Thanks

High temp paint.

I would suggest getting the valve covers painted as well a nice clean engine bay really helps to pull the look off.

If the fender wells are all scratched up and really faded, i'd suggest painting that as well.

Click here to view some underhood pics of my car, you can notice that some pics have just the intake painted and how much better the look got when the fender wells got some paint as well and removal of all stickers.

PS: make sure you get torque specs and a torque wrench when youre ready to reassemble.

She's looking sweet, T.

Whatever you do, don't clear coat your intake. Even the so-called Hi-Heat stuff yellows and ruins the look.

Do a serch under painted or powder coated intakes and there are tons of threads on it!

Good Luck!
