If I used an aftermarket wheel would that help clear these 11.6 brakes? Maybe with wheel spacers as well?

Trying to use some 15in slicks.

If you want to use a 15" wheel, you're more or less limited to 10.9" rotors. The only upgrade available at that rotor size is the Mustang GT caliper on 94/95 knuckles.

I like your line of thought.....

15" slicks are the Way To Go, with a nice, soft sidewall.

Screw the brakes, get a chute!!

The one thing that allowed Ford to put the 11.6" brakes on the large front wheel drive platforms was 16" wheels. The Lincoln caliper is rather large, and you might be able to fit a more diminutive caliper on the 11.6" rotor and make 15" wheels work, but that seems like a whole lot of trouble. I'd say either go to a 16" wheel, or stay with the early brakes.

finally responses lol. im already using some 245 series 16 in drag radials, but i want to go to a full slick and keep the ride height as low as possible. i might just go with the 16in slicks for ease of use. oh and im currently running 11.6 cobras and gen3 subframe, so i cant run the older stuff.
