I have a 2011 SHO, I will barely press on the gas and the boost is adequate, but not great, if I put my foot down, it bogs down and I have major boost lag or no boost at all, also times when it seems like if I ever gun it, there's no boost just engine rev...this is causing a higher Rpm range than what it used to be and my gas mileage is suffering. My friend and I believe it's a possible pre-ignition issue but not sure, never had an engine light come on, Ford wants 100 just to diagnose the issue... I'm in need of an oil change in the next week or so anyways, so hopefully I can pay for the diagnosis and get half off an oil change. I know I have a slight oil leak from the rear turbo feed line, but I'm not sure that would cause such an issue, read earlier of a MAF / CAC cleaning that someone did with similar issues. Anyone have any ideas??

You could also have a turbo issue. I recommend the diagnostic work, since if its serious you need to get it fixed before it causes more serious damage to the engine.

May want to inspect the ever popular chaffing wires on the knock sensors.

Quite prevalent for the '10-'12 model years.

I will quote ruby's favorite words "Pull codes first" :D that will tell you what the computer thinks may be going on.

It could be a popped vacuum line under the engine cover but atop the manifold. Ford does not clamp these down and they can come off sometimes. Hopefully that is all it is.

Could also be a popped wastegate spring or seal, that happens rarely, but does happen.

And looks like you need to get new oil feed lines put on the turbo(s). Fingers crossed, the turbo itself is not leaking.

I haven't seen a lot of cases where the seals have gone bad relative to how many are out there...

And the 2010 especially has issues with the feed and return lines leaking on the turbos... several revisions of lines have been made.. I have had mine replaced twice and they are leaking a small amount again.... if the feed line leaks at the banjo bolt it will soak the outside of the turbo.... if you are not seeing blue smoke out the tail pipes it's probably the feed/return lines...

And since they are TSBs and not recalls, if you are out of warranty then the cost is on you to replace the dorked up lines that Ford puts out there...
