OK.
Let me get this straight and please do not laugh at me. What is the difference between the MAF sensor and the MAF Meter? are they the same, and if not, then where is each located?
I am pretty sure that the MAF meter is the one that is just beyond the airbox that connects to the throttle body. it has an oval connector with 4 wires coming from it. Is this correct? Please shed some light if I am wrong.
If there is a difference between the MAF sensor and MAF meter then where is the MAF sensor? I am just trying to trace a idleing problem.
(see separate post)
Is the MAF Meter (the one that is in line with the throttle body behind the airbox) SHO specific or does it come out of any other cars? Mustang maybe? Just wondering if I have to replace it if I can ask for anything else? I am pretty sure that it is a 55mm from the factory (at least I think that it has 55 in the numbers on the top of it)
