MAF Modifying Question

Might be a dumb question but I was wondering if an MAF housing can be bored out and if so what is the max in .001 of an inch. I just happen to be a machinist and such. Thanks much.:wave:

That's not a bad idea, but I agree with SASHO. MAF's are cheap. See shosource.com.

you'd be better off extracting power from other places, since it's been proven that the maf's good to 400+whp. if you wanna machine something, open up the runners and gasket match the heads.

Plus , its calibrated for that diameter , if you change the way its meant to be , im unsure of the results , If you want to change your MAF , either Grab one from shosource , or grab a 80mm MARKVIII with a tweecer.
