I have a 1997 gen 3 v8 Sho that I have put the lucas "stop slip" preventative maintenance supplement in since it had 40,000 miles on it it now has 100,000 I don't drive the car easy and the tranny still shifts like new. Now my question to you guys is for my 2011 have any of you added the lucas additive to the tranny? I was going to the other day but the manual says do not add additives and that it may ruin tranny....is this true? Or is it safe to put in my 2011 as well

Of course the manual says no additives, some people might think water would be a good additive.
Lucas has a good reputation, and you have some first hand experience, so it is not a shot in the dark for you.
I would contact Lucas and ask how their product improves the fluid it is added to, and if there are any that they are not compatible with.
Until then, I would consider a fluid change (by draining and refilling a few times) to get rid of anything left behind in the manufacturing process.
