recently purchased an lpm (shipped but i havent recieved it yet) i am going to send it to shosource for tuning. The sho is an 89 with the b9b1 computer, i have a 95 parts car with the xj2. would i gain anything if i swap in the xj2 and have the lpm tuned for it instead of the b9b1???

So the LPM chip for the B9B1 just plugs right into the X2J port ? I also have one on the shelf that was used with the B9B1 and now have the X2J.

both have the same ports , its only a matter of calibrations. Slight changes from one another. Still I'd use the X2J.

I know you can swap computers , but I donno if you can put a B9 tuned chip in a X2J , as far as tables and calibrations...

U can swap it out if u want too. IMO u would see no gains of changing, esp having it tuned for ur car by S/S. And the LPM has to be tuned for a certain computer. An x2j tuned LPM will NOT work on a B9b. Ask me how I know:nut: But that got taken care of by brain and S/S. :thankyou:
