OK I contemplated lowering the SHO quite a bit before deciding on going with Eibach but I must admit I was a little disappointed on the amount it actually lowered the car. I measured right up the center of the wheel to the fender well. My car started at F-29 3/4 and R-30 1/2, after the Eibach's were installed and a few weeks later the cars at F-29 1/2 and R-29 3/4. So I'm looking at 1/4" to 1/2" on the front and 1/2" to 3/4 on the rear. The number seem to move around from time to time. The front even went up when I filled the tank, I think because the rear went down slightly.

So here my next step...I'm going to switch out the Eibach's with H&R's!
I'm looking for a more sporty look.
One thing that has been noted in the past is the H&R's may need the camber bolts replace with some after market ones. My question is where do you get these bolts and how much are they?

If anyone with stock 20's and H&R spring would like to take the same measurement I noted before to give me a real idea of what I'm going to get for my trouble I would appreciate it.

Thanks!

Bill,
I have the K&R's installed and I measured mine along the center as you did..
Front = 28 1/4"
Rear = 29"
I researched the same before I bought the K&R. My installer told me the K&R would give a more aggressive stance. I am very happy with the way the car looks..

Yes, H&R. It took me a while to learn Eibach and I had new clue what H&R stood for, even if it's Hot & Racy!
I guss it's too close to H&R Block, the big tax company based here in KC.

How about those camber bolts?

There is a thread on that by bpd1151 and in that thread a link to buy them online... don t remember where though, but it was something like Camber bolt resolved or something like that... you will find it quickly.
You will love the HR springs!

I too bought the bolts, but didn't need them. Some do... some don't. Depends on the actual camber at build. Guess there is some variance.

If you can handle the look of smaller diameter tires, like I have, you can get even more drop!

Thanks, I don't want a snow blow just a aggressive looking car like a BMW M5.
My shop is taking care of the exchange. Hope to have it completed Thursday.
I'll let it "settle" again before getting it aligned.
Where the bolts for the front or back, and where did you get them?
I found bolts from Direct Tuning but they are only for struts.

Thanks!

H&R's installed

Had the H&R's installed today. I was a little surprised the front didn't drop any lower than the Eibach's which were only 1/2" below stock but the rear's really dropped, 2" below stock and 1 1/2" more than Eibach's. It makes the car look flat now instead of kicked up in the back. I'll report in on the ride and future drop if any and how the alignment goes after they settle in.
