Lowering a MKS

Hi guys I have a 2010 ecoboost mks. I was looking to lower the car. I called Eibach which said they have a kit for the SHO but they said they didnt have one for the mks. The tech didn't say the springs wouldn't fit he just said they don't guarantee they would fit. I know H&R has a kit but they claim it drops the care almost to 2 inches. I have the appearance package so the car is fairly low to the ground and I cant stand to drag the bumper. I was wondering if anyone knew if the Eibach springs for the SHO would work in the mks? Thanks

As far as I know, the Taurus and MKS are the same car with slightly different sheet metal and interior. That means the suspension should be more or less identical.

Yeah I would think the Eibachs should work as well.

Hey guys i was looking at h&r spings and they have a part number for the sho and a different number for the mks. The mks has more drop then the sho. however the mks part number displays the years are from 2008 and up whereas the sho is 2010 and up?! I see the sho springs say it lowers the car about 1.4" the mks number show about 1.6". while .2" is not that big I only have 1.8" between the lowest point of my bumper and the curb for my driveway now. With people in the car I probably will scrape the bumper. I called H&R and the rep said to use the mks springs. I was originally was going to get the Eibach springs but I saw the car sitting outside the other day and from far away its way to high. So the more drop the better to the point I can get it in my drive. Do you think I can run the H&R sho springs?
