Well I replaced the bad Dampener but couldnt get a timing cover so I repaired the one I have. I took pictures because I thought I did a really good patch job on it. but my girlfriend did something to the camara and they were deleted. But I cant tell you that Aluminum Tape wasn't my first choice but if you can picture a round cut out of the lower timing belts cover caused by the Dampener belt pully wheel seperating from the balance wheel. There are 2 bolts on either side of the cover and a stop molded into the oil pan that prevents the pully from rapidly grinding into the timing belt housing when it works it's way backwards and throws or shreads (in my case) the sepentine belt. So again not willing to give into Fords pressure to buy a part from them I got some Aluminum Tape used for a verity of Duct and plumbing uses I am told and proceded to patch the damaged cover. Piece by piece I covered the ground out hole and WALLAH! A new shinny piece that wont be seen unless you look for it. Im no country boy but damnit, duct tape works.
PS the clasifieds have my wanted timing cover listed there for a 95 atx 3.2
