Ok a few months back i got my intrax and tokico's on. But now i have alot of negtive chamber in the rear. Tires are really bowing out. I have been reading up on the Lower rear adjustable tublar arms. Would this fix my problem and get my rear end into speck again? Cause i have noticed my rear tires are starting to wear on the inside. And i want to get this fixed soon. Are they easy to install your self. i know you would have to get the rear end alm done after words. But is this something u could do at your house?

Ask Todd at TCE. Banner above. He has good units if I remember correctly. I'm sure he could explain the install.

The difference from stock is that the length is adjustable as opposed to the concentric bushings on the stock one. Allows for a larger range of adjustment.

I have the GTP arms from Sho shop and am from NY. The shop that put them on for me was not happy. Being a North East car with all the salty roads, the bolts for the old arms were pretty rusted on there. While you're in there, you might want to consider putting an H brace in to reinforce the stock torque box. (fits in between where the control arms hook in)

I installed the GTP units on my '93 ATX with little difficulty. The hardest part was getting the stock arms off. It took about four hours, including the H-brace installation. When I received the new parts from GM Direct, I took them apart and applied anti-sieze compound to the threads, to keep them from galling and rusting. It's amazing that GM didn't do this originally. It's a great setup for those with Intrax or Eibach's.

Ok i know when i got under my car the other day i was looking at the control arms. And i nocted that some type of brake system or part is welded onto one of the arms. What do u do with that part when i get the new control arms. Do u weld it on there. Or do u let it hang around. And how hard is it install the h Brace?

Thanks again

If you buy Todd's arms, he will supply you with plugs to bypass the cheap psuedo proportional valve. The rear brakes will work just a little harder. Todd's arm are made with alot attention to detail and very strong racing pieces. I could not get the rear aligned properly with my SS linear springs until I installed the arms. I installed the arm removing one original and installing a new one eyeballing and measuring the length.

Call Doug at FPS: 770-949-7191. He sells tubular aluminum adjustable control arms. The kit also includes provisions to keep the factory rear brake proportioning valve. I have them on my car and love them.

"Doug" is the co-owner of Ford Performance Specialists of Georgia. He is the one who built my Supercharged 93. And the one who builds the "bullet-proof" atx. I also have the control arms on my car. He has vast experience with these cars. I don't believe that he has a "screen name".
