Can anyone shed some light on how to remove one to replace the bearings inside? Figured I'd ask here first bc I can't see down there without removing things first and I'm sure some of u have had this problem of screeching idler pulleys

For ATX,remove serpentine belt, 17mm socket for tensioner IIRC then 14mm socket IIRC to remove bolt from pulley. Might have to remove upper pulley to gain access to lower pulley. Removal of battery tray will give you lots more room to work. For MTX you'll need a 5mm hex head to release tension on the pulley. Can't recall bolt size for the MTX even though I installed new belts last March. I believe I moved the power steering resevoir out of the way too for the left one.
